From the Vice-Chancellor's Desk

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Centre for Distance and Online Education at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra.

The University has received approval from the University Grants Commission — Distance Education Bureau (UGC-DEB), New Delhi, for eight programmes in the Online mode: B.Com., B.B.A. and B.C.A. at the undergraduate level, and M.Com., M.B.A., M.C.A., M.B.A. (Travel & Tourism Management) and M.A. (Sociology) at the postgraduate level.

These programmes are open to every student who prefers this mode, and reach in particular those whom circumstance has kept away from formal education: working professionals upgrading their skills, women whose studies were interrupted by family responsibility, adult learners completing an unfinished degree, persons with limited mobility, students in villages and small towns, and Indians settled abroad. Education, we believe, should adapt to the learner's circumstances rather than the other way round.

Aligned with the National Education Policy 2020, the programmes are delivered through a structured Learning Management System with recorded and live sessions, self-learning material, continuous assessment and dedicated academic support. The curriculum, faculty and evaluation standards are the same as our regular programmes, and the degrees carry equal recognition.
